Nice place with a youth community center. They have a radio station on 88.9, i think. There is also access to a small beach which is pretty.
Good beach park with pole shower and restrooms, limited parking. Good place for body-boarding and some short surf breaks. Has a basketball court with lights that stay on until 9PM. Often windy, and NOT a good place to snorkel.
Great beach on the north shore of MAUI shopping available plus a bunch of specialized restaurant's,clothing store's very beachy vibe up top just a short walk away.the beache is not as crowded like the south and west side of the island.located ,just before“ Paia Town" I believe that it's worth every bit of a day at the beach on the north shore.the break can be a bit stronger in the winter so please ask someone prior if you are going to spend time in the water,BUT No worries! Otherwise,have fun in lower Paia park & beach or the charmingtown.I do,I live on the north shore it's the best on the island...Enjoy
Good beach and shaower/bathrooms but many transient self choosen homeless. Not a safe place to bring young kids because of all the drinking and drugs...and occasional fights.
Yea I love paia, people are friendly n you can make friends with practically anybody.... I like Go in to the beaches surf n play my songs on my ukulele....
